To Do (all families):

☐ 1. Complete all forms in MySchool App. International School of Portland of Portland’s school information system,  

☐ 2. Have you been receiving The Owl Parent Bulletin by email? If not, double-check #1 above. Check your spam folder. Designate the following emails in your safe-senders list.

☐ 3. Purchase school supplies. See lists at Put your child’s name on anything that is worn to school, all year long.

☐ 4. Sign up for a volunteer opportunities here (if you have not already done so). The ISP Parent Network offers wonderful, diverse ways to help the school. The sign up and hour tracking forms can also be found through the Resource section in MySchool App. For more information, go to

☐ 5. Submit a background check form and proof of vaccination for volunteering. All classroom volunteers & chaperones must submit a new background check every 2 years. See. Fill out a background check here and bring your completed form to a receptionist or email it to

☐ 6. Immunizations. New students; complete and submit an Oregon immunization form found in MySchool App. Returning students: send an updated one if there have been changes. Any child with incomplete immunizations must be excluded from school by law. For information about exemptions, visit

☐ 7. Child-is-sick plan. Know your caregiver plan for when your child is sick. See “Health” section for “What is too sick for school?”

☐ 8. Pick up your new ISP t-shirt! All students get a new ISP t shirt this year! Stop by any front desk during the first week of school to a (free) new one.

☐ 9. Want to drive for field trips? Note: NOT relevant for 2021-22 (grades K-5 only) We need copies of your background check, drivers license, and insurance. Send scans or (clear) phone photos to See for details.
