Philanthropy Overview
The generous support of families and friends has made the International School of Portland the center of excellence that it is today. Like most independent schools, ISP depends on the philanthropic support of our community to provide exceptional educational opportunities above and beyond what tuition alone can cover.
Tuition revenue covers most of our day-to-day operational expenses (teacher salaries, utilities, classroom supplies, field trips). Philanthropic contributions keep the school healthy and stable by offsetting some of those costs. Contributions also enable us to fund new programmatic initiatives, make critical campus improvements, and provide our teachers and students with exciting educational opportunities not covered by tuition. We ask every family to consider making a philanthropic gift in support of our students and teachers in a way that is meaningful for them.

Outside our annual fundraisers, we also seek gifts that propel our students and school to new heights by supporting visionary projects like major campus enhancements, scholarship endowment funds and special projects. We welcome you to contact us about becoming involved in any of these opportunities.
Contributions to the ISP are tax-deductible to the full extent as allowed by law. International School of Portland (dba International School of Portland) is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Our tax ID number is 94-3126167.
Please feel free to contact our Development team with any questions about how you can give to ISP including alternative forms of giving, including gifts of stock or in-kind gifts.
