A very special thank you to all who joined us for our virtual Global Gala on November 21, 2020. We estimate that we had over 300 guests tune in from all over the country!
We weren’t sure how our first virtual auction would come together and were really worried that an online celebration just wouldn’t be the same. And while things definitely were different, the sense of community, love and support for TIS were still very much present.
Together our community came together and donated over $122,000 at the event – gifts that will go right to work to support our students and teachers during this challenging year. We are humbled and grateful beyond words for the support of our community.

What does the special appeal support this year?
This year, we’ve re-imagined how our community’s philanthropic support can help us rise to this critical moment, advance the mission of The International School and keep #TIStogether. All 2020-21 donations will go to our People, Programs or Place. This includes annual fund, auction, special appeal, and more! Additional information can be found at www.intlschool.org/giving.
How do I register?
Click the button above to go to the registration page. Prompts on that page will inform you of our different registration options – you can purchase registration packages that can include meals and wine, or simply register to participate in the event only.
Who can “attend?”
The beauty of our virtual format is that anyone and everyone can attend from anywhere! The kids can join in and watch the performances while you enjoy a family meal package; grandparents can watch from their own living rooms; alumni can connect and support their Alma Mater from wherever the are around the globe. (Please note, meal orders from our partner restaurants will only be available locally.)
How will meal packages work this year?
We’ve partnered with three restaurants owned by families in our TIS community: Shizuku by Chef Naoko, Duck House, and ChefStable. The restaurants have generously curated special meal options for our event. Meals are available in single, double or family packages, and include auction goodies and wine. Meals are only available for pickup from each restaurant location. You will choose your restaurant during the registration process, and will then be contacted post-registration for exact meal choices.
