It feels like Fall out there! Here’s what is coming up in the next few weeks.
Tomorrow is Flu & Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic – Take Two!
Last week’s flu vaccine clinic was very popular! Unfortunately the clinic did not bring nearly enough flu shots for everyone, and barely made it through the first hour of the clinic! We are very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment!
To make it up to us, they are returning TOMORROW, Thursday, for Round 2! This time the clinic will be from 8-9:30am.

Covid-19 shots are free. For flu shots, the clinic accepts the following insurance:
– Pacific Source
– Regence
– Providence
– Oregon Health Plan (OHP)
– Medicare: Only if Primary Insurance. (If you have a Medicare supplemental plan it must be one of the listed companies.)
Without insurance, the cost is $38.00
Fall Costume Parade – October 31st!
It’s back! Get ready for the annual Fall Costume Parade! This beloved tradition will be held on Monday, October 31 from 8:45-9:45am.
Students, Families, and Staff are encouraged to dress up! Please, no weapons of any kind (light sabers are weapons), no bloody wounds or very scary masks, and no costumes that drag on the ground or otherwise interfere with walking. Students can put on masks or long capes ONLY for the parade and must take them off again after the parade.
No candy, please!
Global Kids Fall Break Registration
Registration for Global Kids Alternative Days is now open for Fall Break, November 21st and 22nd! Enroll on our website today!

Photo Retake Day: November 15th. Sign up NOW if you want a do-over!
School Picture Retake Day will be Tuesday, November 15th.
If you would like retakes for your child, simply fill out the form below and we will schedule a time for them.
IMPORTANT Please have your student bring back their original photo package, and Dorian will print the same package with the retake day image.
WHAT IF MY CHILD WAS ABSENT FOR PHOTO DAY?
If your child was absent on the actual day, they will get the opportunity to have their photo taken that day as well. We know what students did not receive photos that day.
You have the ability to order pictures online by visiting dorianstudio.com and searching for “International School of Portland.” Your online order can be placed before and up to four (4) days after picture day.
After the 4-day grace period expires, a personalized access key will be sent home with picture delivery. A $7 shipping and handling fee will be added to all orders made with a personalized access key and orders will ship directly to your home.

Parent Network Monthly Meeting – New location for November!
The ISP Parent Network’s mission is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and community environment at the International School of Portland. It serves to identify and organize volunteer support at ISP. Just as importantly, it aims to strengthen relationships, communication, and collaboration between parents, faculty, and administrators.
Join us next week to learn more about Parent Network happenings and how to get more involved now or in the future. If you are a current parent at the school, you are already a member of the Parent Network! 🙂

Please Record Volunteer Hours!
Hello, Volunteers!
We have many parents attending meetings, chaperoning, and helping out in the library and classrooms. Please record your hours so that we know who to thank! Plus, an accurate record of volunteer hours is very important for grant applications and external funding.
Volunteer hours can even be recorded for meetings like Curriculum Night, auction planning meetings, and more!
