ISP Green Team Bulb Planting and Garden Work Party

Members of the ISP Green Team came together one recent Saturday for a morning of daffodil bulb planting and a garden work party. The team planted approximately 65 bulbs around campus for everyone to enjoy when they bloom in the Spring! Weeds were also cleared in and around the school garden, along with other improvement tasks.

Thanks to ISP parent Reid Thompson for donating the bulbs!

The ISP Green Team is comprised of parent and staff volunteers who care about keeping our campus, surrounding areas, and our planet beautiful.

Important Changes to Background Check Submission Requirements

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) recently changed their policies in regards to Background Check form submissions. You may fill out the form on-line, but then you need to print it and sign.

The ODE no longer accepts digital photographs/images of the signed form for submission. The ODE now requires that the signed Background Check form be a paper copy or in pdf format.
You can either:

  • Return the signed paper form to a front desk
  • Scan it and send a pdf of yourself to upload via the File Upload form, or
  • Scan and email the pdf directly to background@intlschool.org

All field trip chaperones and on campus volunteers must complete a Background Check form. This form requires a signature. (Note: The Department of Education will only accept applications submitted by the school, you do not need to submit a cover letter or the $5 payment as indicated on the application form, ISP will manage that part).

If you are driving on a Field trip, you will also need to submit a photo of your Drivers’ license and insurance card information.
Please take a clear photo of your COVID-19 vaccination card (and drivers’ license and insurance card if you are driving for field trips).

Please bring them both to any front desk, or upload them via our File Upload form.
