January Learner Profile Attribute: I am an Inquirer
The ten International Baccalaureate Learner Profile traits are school values, and are means by which to support healthy social and emotional development. Our faculty focuses upon one of them each month as means.
For January, our faculty are focusing on “Inquirer”
Profile Overview: We nurture our curiosity, developing skills for inquiry and research. We know how to learn independently and with others. We learn with enthusiasm and sustain our love of learning throughout life.
Being an inquirer can look like…
Asking thoughtful questions
Trying something new or in a different way
Going deeper with an idea
Showing curiosity about how we’re feeling
Showing curiosity about how others are feeling
Showing enthusiasm for learning
….and more!
Our librarians, Amy and Tomoyo, have recommended books about being an Inquirer. They are available for checkout at the ISP Library!
