It’s Teacher Appreciation Week!
It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! This is a wonderful way to break up a work day with delightful treats and make our beloved teachers feel special.
Thank you for all of the wonderful goodies delivered this to our teachers this morning! Here is what is up for the rest of the week:
WEDNESDAY: Handmade cards from students to the teachers plus one more surprise 🙂
THURSDAY: Gift bags for homeroom teachers and specialists
FRIDAY: Lunch for Teachers (ISP providing)
It’s Walk & Roll Challenge Month!! Bike Parade TOMORROW!
May is Walk + Roll Challenge Month! Download the scorecard and fill out the number of trips you make from May 1-31. If you also walk or bike home after school, please indicate that on your scorecard. You get double points for doing the round-trip.
At the end of the month, we’ll be handing out prizes! Everyone who participates gets Walk & Roll swag, with a prize pack to the winner! The families of the 1st place winner and runner up will each get a bottle of wine. May 1st will be the first day to start recording.
BIKE PARADE! Tomorrow Wednesday, May 3rd is National Bike to School Day! We’ll meet up to form a massive, unstoppable bike brigade parade to school.
NEW!!! TWO MEET UP SPOTS!
Salmon Street Springs Fountain. Meet at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park (address is 1000 SW Naito Parkway). Meet at 7:35/7:40, and we’ll start at 7:45
Tilikum Bridge, East Side. Meet on sidewalk/bike path at the foot of the Tilikum bridge, at the southeast corner of the OMSI parking lot. For those driving and parking, you can park at OMSI before it opens. If you plan to park there all day, please remember to pay the parking fee 🙂 Meet at 7:35/7:40, and we’ll start at 7:45.

Parent Network Meeting Tomorrow! Your Help is Needed!
Come learn about parent volunteer opportunities and Steering Committee positions for next year! We have lots of fun things already planned for 2023-24.
Join us tomorrow, May 3rd at 8:30am at the Arthur Administration Building conference room, up the street from the Main Campus.

Moving for Music and Art 2023 Update!
That’s a wrap on Moving for Music and Art! We have successfully completed our annual joyful day of movement! Last week the weather blessed us with some sunshine for our fun run. Students ran over 10,000 laps to support art, music, and PE! Thank you to all who supported, volunteered and cheered on our students during MMA! We appreciate you!
Follow-up forms were sent home with your student last week that showcase how many laps your child ran. Sponsors forms and payments are due by Friday, May 12. Forms can be dropped off with any teacher, at the front desks of Stearns or Hilltop, or at the Arthur Administration Building.
