Spanish Intern Hosts Wanted for this School Year!

This Fall we will be welcoming another intern to ISP, courtesy of the Spanish Ministry of Education and the International Spanish Academy.  Elena Valentin-Fernandez will be coming September 1 through April 30. We are looking for two to three families who are interested in splitting up the year. Here is some more information about Elena:
My name is Elena. I was born on April 15, 2000, in a beautiful town called Toledo, located in the center of Spain. I live in a big village named Sonseca, which is very close to Toledo, with my parents and my elder sister. I studied Primary Education and High school in my hometown. Then, I moved to the city to study for a degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Castilla La Mancha. Last June, I graduated as a teacher.
Being a teacher has been my dream since I was a little girl. My job is my passion. I really love and enjoy it. Since I was 16 years old, I’ve been a monitor in different camps and children’s recreational activities. In addition, I’ve done volunteer work related to the educational world of children in different associations. For the past two years, I’ve worked as a private tutor teaching English to children. People who know me define me as a very responsible, friendly, easy-going, and kind girl. Also, I consider myself a cheerful, confident, tidy, loving, and funny person.
See you soon!
No matter your language track, you can bring Spanish culture into your home by hosting an intern from Spain. ISP has hosted seven wonderful interns in the past who were a great addition to the family who opened their doors to them.
The host family needs to provide room and board.  ISP will provide a monthly bus pass. Please reach out to Maria Abad if you are interested in hosting!
