Abelid Verri: Our New IB Coordinator!

ISP is very happy to announce that Abelid (Abby) Verri will now be the school’s International Baccalaureate Coordinator! Abby has been teaching Spanish LowK at ISP since 2008. In her new role, Abby will oversee the design and implementation of the IB at ISP. She will work closely with teaching teams on the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to ensure that all facets of the ISP educational experience are integrated with the Programme.

Abby is excited to have the opportunity to serve the school and faculty as IB coordinator. As an established teacher at ISP, she is very familiar with PYP as a practitioner. She looks forward to collaborating with the faculty and administration. Abby enjoys working with the school faculty, and is excited to be able to help support them by providing them with training and resources necessary to continue to implement the IB philosophy at ISP with the same level of excellence and commitment that they’ve shown.

Abby was born in Mexico and has lived in the United States since age 12. She received her BA in Communication Studies from Portland State University.
