Please Label Your Student’s Clothes and Water Bottles!

Fall has just begun and the Lost & Found is already filling up with sweatshirts and sweaters. They all have a nice label inside the collar, but no names written. Thus we cannot connect them back to their owner

Please label any clothes your child wears that might be removed on a warm afternoon at school. And check the Lost & Founds if you are missing a sweatshirt! There is one in Learners’ Hall, Stearns Hall, and the Hilltop Building.

Parent Network Monthly Meeting

The ISP Parent Network’s mission is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and community environment at the International School of Portland. It serves to identify and organize volunteer support at ISP. Just as importantly, it aims to strengthen relationships, communication, and collaboration between parents, faculty, and administrators.

Join us Friday morning to learn more about Parent Network happenings and how to get more involved now or in the future. If you are a current parent at the school, you are already a member of the Parent Network! 🙂

Date: October 4th, 2024
Time: 8:00 – 9:00 am
Place: ISP Arthur Administration Building
122 S Arthur Ave (just up the street from the main campus)

ISP Upcoming Community Events

International Walk and Roll to School Day!

October 9th is International Walk and Roll to School Day! Not to be confused with the National Walk and Roll Day in May.:)

In its honor, the ISP Green Team will be hosting a Bike Bus to school, followed by coffee! What is a bike bus? Basically, it’s a group of people biking together to a destination. Bike buses to school have become a movement! They help reduce our carbon footprint, they ARE SUPER FUN, and they can help us advocate for safer routes to school for all our students, faculty, and staff.

Meeting Location: 45.50725°N, 122.66350°W (this is the plaza between OMSI South parking lot and OMSI/SE Water Street light rail Station)
Meeting Time: Please get there on Wednesday 10/9 by 7:30am
Departure Time: 7:35am (we will be leaving promptly)
Route Distance: ~1 mile
Arrival at ISP: 7:50am (to ensure we arrive on time, we will be traveling at a rate of <15min/mile — kid bikers welcome/encouraged, but for safety and timeliness they need to be able to keep to at least this pace)
For questions, please contact Reid T.
