ISP Japanese Capstone Study Abroad Trip Update: They’re Back!

After finishing up school and homestay in Hachinohe, our Japanese Capstone Study Abroad students set off to experience additional areas of the country for the following week. They explored other parts of Aomori Prefecture before going up to Hokkaido and then culminating their trip down in Tokyo. Their travels ran the gamut in terms of experiencing different types of transportation in Japan—between planes, bullet trains, monorails, and boats, our travelers racked up some mileage! They visited museums and cultural centers, natural and scenic areas, historical sites, and more, all while practicing linguistic and cultural fluency.

Our Capstone students are back in school this week, and visibly standing a bit prouder and taller. The experience is truly a life-changing one. We are enjoying hearing about all of their adventures!

One Question Survey Coming this Week

This week, you will be getting an email from Maria or Jason that asks for your participation in a very short survey. It is a simple one-question survey per student in your family. It’s a simple way for you to let us know what we are doing well and where we can improve. The feedback from this survey helps us to shape our activities and priorities, both school-wide and in specific areas.

It will take no more than a few moments of your time. The more people that participate, the more actionable and valuable the feedback will be to the school.

*We would like EVERY parent in a household to complete it.*

Please look out for this survey in your emails!
