Welcome, Allegra Lopez!
Please help us welcome our new member of the Development team, Allegra Lopez!
For the past five years, Allegra was a member of the development department for Literary Arts in a variety of roles including events, grants, and administrative work. Her broad fundraising experience makes her an ideal fit for this role. Allegra took Japanese in high school, knows some Spanish, and is currently learning Mandarin so she brings a strong affinity to all three of our language tracks. She is a big believer in our mission and the role of fundraising in making all things possible.
Welcome, Allegra!

January’s Learner Profile Attribute: Open-Minded
The ten International Baccalaureate Learner Profile traits are school values, and are means by which to support healthy social and emotional development. Our faculty focuses upon one of them each month as means.
For January, faculty are focusing on “Open-Minded”
Profile Overview: We critically appreciate our own cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others. We seek and evaluate a range of points of view, and we are willing to grow from the experience.”
A great topic to explore as we prepare to celebrate different cultures and traditions for our International Festival! Below is a booklist from the library created by the amazing Amy and Tomoyo.
Thanks!

This year’s winner of our Golden Ticket Raffle will be the owner of a reserved parking space in the lot behind Stearns for the 2023-2024 school year. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased online or in person at the Friday and Saturday events. The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday night at the Global Auction Gala. Only 100 tickets will be sold. The winner need not be present to win.
Volunteer! We would love volunteers to help on projects leading up to the auction as well as volunteers for our Friday and Saturday events. Contact Rebecca Roberts if you’d like to join the fun.
Donate! Do you have a vacation home, condo or timeshare that would be a great item to add to our auction? Are you a frequent flyer and have extra miles? Do you have exclusive access to a restaurant, winery, or business? We would love to hear from you. Vacation get-aways, dining and experiential packages are very popular and would help ISP raise important funds for our school.
