We are pleased to introduce Amy Wykcoff, our new Librarian! Amy most recently served as a Youth Services Lead Librarian at Beaverton City Library (Main branch) where she planned and facilitated engaging programs and large-scale events. She especially loved presenting STEM programs, such as the annual Science Geek Out Festival, featuring science experts from a variety of fields (think beekeepers next to geologists, hydrologists, and astronomers).  She also presented a weekly STEM storytime for preschoolers, featuring engaging books and science-related activities.

Here is a message from Amy:

I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of Librarian here and have already been busy readying the library space and shelves for the return of our readers.  In my spare time, I enjoy exploring science. I’m an avid gardener, growing as much of my own food as possible, and love to spend time in nature. I enjoy hiking with my two adventure dogs, traveling, learning about other cultures, live music, and experiencing and creating art.  I have a 4-year-old daughter who is starting at ISP as well and we are both really excited about all the opportunities for the year ahead.
I look forward to meeting all of you amazing ISP families soon!   Please stop by during afternoon checkout from 3-3:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; I’d love to talk books and reading with you!

Wednesday Early Release Days

As a reminder, Wednesdays are Early Release Days. This will mean that dismissal begins at 2:00pm on Wednesdays instead of 3:00pm. This practice began last year to accommodate the need for faculty planning meetings. In order to balance both student contact time and reduce the strain to parent schedules, we removed all half-days as well as one grading day that had historically been part of the school year schedule.

Global Kids, our extended-day provider, starts earlier on that day to accommodate the early release.

Global Kids Extended-Day Program 2022-23: Enrollment is NOW OPEN!

Global Kids Extended-day Program offers children plenty of outdoor time, free play, fun enrichment activities, and healthy snacks after school until 5:30pm on regular school days. Global Kids also offers full day programming on some no school days and school breaks, from 8:00am- 3:30pm, which we call Alternative Days.
Regular School Day Program Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3:30-5:30pm
Wednesday 2:30-5:30pm
Alternative Day Program Hours (No School Days):
8:00am- 3:30pm
Visit INTLSCHOOL.ORG/GLOBALKIDS/ for full program details, fees, & policies!
Please contact us at globalkids@intlschool.org with any questions.

It’s time to complete your forms for the new school year! Each student is assigned a back-to-school checklist, which includes a number of important forms.

Upon logging in, you should see a yellow banner on the top of the screen asking you to please complete your student forms and checklist(s).

Please review and/or complete each of the forms. If you completed the forms last year, you will already see pre-filled information. The forms include:
Medical permissions, insurance and doctors

New families are also asked to upload immunization and vision & dental verification forms.
