Lan Su Moon Festival – Thank you!
Thank you to all of the families who joined us at the Lan Su Garden Autumn Moon Festival over the weekend. ISP was the only school invited to be part of this special community event, and we were honored to be there. During the day, guests stopped by our event booth to create Chinese paper lantern collages. We saw a number of familiar faces in the crowd (thanks for stopping by!) including some ISP grandparents and alumni students. At night, our Chinese Track 4th and 5th graders closed down the festival as part of the grand finale cultural performance. Carrying handmade lanterns, they followed a 100-foot illuminated dragon as it made its way through the festival and Lan Su Garden grounds! Over 5000 people attended the event!
