Update from Maria Abad – 8/12

Dear Families,

It seems like it was just few days ago when we said goodbye for the summer, when indeed we are approaching the other end of the summer and the days start to get busier as we prepare to welcome the new school year.

As always the excitement comes from many different angles. From the students, who are not just waiting to meet their new teacher, but also to find out who their classmates are, and also to show their new backpack or lunch box. From the parents, who are excited but also nervous because it will be a new experience for the kids and for their family. From the teachers, who want to make sure everything is ready to welcome the new students.

I can just assure you that things will unfold easier than what we all (adults) anticipate or predict. The students are the ones who always have the easier time making the adjustments, and for the few who have some difficulties I’m very confident that each of them will be well taken care of, and given the opportunity to adjust at their own pace in a very safe environment. And for the adults, we the admin team will do everything that we can to help make the transition smooth.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do get in touch.
