Last ITK note from Alfonso – 6/11
Dear Friends,
And here we are. A long journey and yet the blink of an eye. On Wednesday we will have the graduation breakfast for grade fives. On Thursday the year culminates in goodbye handshaking for grade fives, and then kindergarten and grade five graduations. Some have asked about state test results, and we will forward the official results as soon as we receive them.
It has been a great pleasure to serve your children and this school for the past three years. ISP is poised to move to even higher levels under the leadership of our next Head of School, the very knowledgeable and human Robert Woods, and with the hard work of faculty and staff. I am very proud of the work done by all my colleagues and know that they will continue on that path. Everything we do depends on our own close collaboration within the school and with parents and students.
I think that our teachers and this school do far more for students than most people realize, and my final request to you would be that you support ISP in any way and to whatever extent you can. It is a unique, wonderful place filled with extraordinary teachers, kids and staff.
With sincere gratitude,
Alfonso
