Global Kids Extended-Day Program
2021-2022 enrollment will open at noon on Tuesday, August 17.
2021-2022 School Year
Welcome to the Global Kids Extended-Day Program of the International School of Portland! Our program offers children plenty of outdoor time, free play, fun enrichment activities, healthy snacks, and time to work on homework for older students.
As a part of the International School of Portland, Global Kids Extended-day Program will follow the ISP Operational Blueprint for Reentry. Each student is assigned a Global Kids group, which is a mixed grade group during the Global Kids Program, with a dedicated Group Leader and an additional Assistant Group Leader if class size warrants one. Our caring, experienced, and dedicated Group Leaders will facilitate a variety of fun enrichment activities designed to engage children with varying skills and abilities. Our staff foster warm, nurturing relationships with children in our program and adhere to current Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Early Learning Division guidelines for operating under the COVID-19 pandemic.
Global Kids is available after each regular school day, Monday through Friday, until 5:30pm. Enrollment in the Global Kids Program for the 2021- 2022 school year opens mid-August 20210, and will remain open throughout the year, pending space is available. Students may withdraw from the program on a month to month basis throughout the year, if needed.
Global Kids Program is available for all students who are enrolled at the International School of Portland and attending our school in person on campus.
