New EC Playground – Plants are coming in September!
Our awesome new Early Childhood playground is almost ready! We’ll have a brief opening ceremony at 8:30am on Monday, August 28 – the same day as classroom visits and the Parent Network Fall Fun Fair! We invite children of all ages to get out there and enjoy our unique natural play elements.
However, you may think it looks a little, well, parched at first. Have no fear, vegetation is near! Due to the record summer heat, grasses, trees, and other plants will be added in late September/early October. Willow structures will be added in Spring (when it buds).
Despite the temporary lack of green, we look forward to seeing everyone out there next week!
