The TIS Parent Network is currently recruiting members for the 2016-17 Steering Committee.
Now finishing its first year after a successful relaunch the Parent Network identifies and organizes volunteer support at TIS. Just as importantly, it serves to strengthen relationships, communication, and collaboration between parents, faculty, and administrators. It is integral to furthering the school’s mission to provide an excellent education for its future global citizens.
The next Parent Network Steering Committee meeting of the school year is Thursday, May 5 at 8:30am at Elephants on Corbett (across from the EC Campus).
The Steering Committee meets once a month and discusses various aspects of parental involvement at the school. Its works includes planning parent events, overseeing volunteers, and collaborating with school faculty and staff on various projects. It’s a wonderful way to get to know other TIS families, build community, and help to strengthen our school.
