Walk + Bike Challenge Month encourages students and families to walk, bike and roll to school and in their neighborhoods. TIS is a participating school; look for sign up sheets, stickers, tattoos, and more at the front desks coming soon.
TIS will also be celebrating National Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 10th. Last year over 2,200 schools participated across the country!
As a special treat to kick-off Walk + Bike Challenge Month, the Safe Routes to School Bike Fairies will be visiting all 106 elementary, K-8, and middle schools in the Portland program. Each bike parked on campus during bike fairy day will receive a packet including a raffle ticket for even more prizes.* Safe Routes knows that biking isn't always easy or convenient for families, so they just want to say thanks for making the effort! More info on this to come!
