Get Those Running Shoes On…

Tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept 27th) will be this year’s Run for the Arts.  Will it rain? Maybe! Please assume that the run is ON. If it's pouring tonight we'll send a note out ASAP. Perhaps send your child with extra shoes tomorrow in case theirs get wet.  All grades will be participating  in this fun-filled event to help earn money for our school’s Art and Music programs and for visiting Artist Assemblies.

A few things to remember:

  • Please dress your child appropriately to run…especially the shoes!

  • Send a water bottle with your child so that he/she will be sure to hydrate.

  • Do NOT return your sponsor sheet tomorrow—the number of laps run will be sent home with your child in the afternoon.

  • Sponsor sheets and collected pledges are due by Wednesday, October 19th

If you would like to volunteer and have not already signed-up you are welcome to show up anytime between 7:30 and 1:30 in the field behind the garden to help with the Run.  Even if you are only able to help for a short while it will be appreciated.  Below is our schedule for the day—it is designed so that all students will be able to attend their English classes.  There will be no Art/PE/Music classes.

If you take photos that you would like to contribute for TIS marketing, please post them to www.yogile.com/2011rfa, e-mail them to 2011rfa@yogile.com, or contact Linda Bonder (marketing@Intlschool.org, 503-477-5231) to exchange flash drives. Linda will check them against parent photo permissions before using them.
