Lan Su Chinese Garden festival

Chinese New Year - Year of the Rabbit
February 3-17

An annual festival for families and children this celebration includes performances and activities sharing the rich culture and history of Chinese New Year. This two-week celebration culminates with traditional lantern viewing on February 17. Throughout the festival, all visitors receive a red envelope, symbolizing good luck for the coming year.

Activities include lion dances, story time, red paper lantern making, zodiac animal bookmark stamping, lectures from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and the National College of Natural Medicine, musical performances and martial arts demonstrations.

All events (except for the Lantern Viewing on February 17) are included with admission or membership.
