Room parents needed . . . and other volunteer opportunities

Room parents (all year, new or returning families). Room parents are organizers and liaisons between the teachers, parents, TIS Administration and the rest of the PTO. Being a room parent allows you to have an active role in your child's education, it's a great way to get to know the other parents in your class and it's easy to fulfill your volunteer hour commitment.  The duties include but are not limited to: organizing volunteers for classroom activities including field trips, festivals and auction projects and distributing important classroom information to parents. Please contact PTO President Kathy Guilfoyle at

Mondays throughout the year to deliver pizza to classrooms, one shift 10:30 to 12:15 and one shift from 11:30 to 12:30. Pizza Monday Captain Victoria O'Kain needs at least 4 volunteers every Monday starting Sept 13.  To sign up or ask questions, please contact Victoria at or 503-703-7331.
