Support Us In the NWPP Walkathon!!

Dear Friends,

It is now our 7th year (Samantha's 5th) supporting the Northwest Pilot Project. We are writing to ask for your support for our participation in NWPP's 31st annual Walkathon on Sunday, May 2, 2010.

NWPP is celebrating its 40th year serving low-income seniors, those with an average income of less than $985 per month. During the last year, NWPP helped over 500 seniors find and keep affordable rental housing; assisted over 400 seniors with transportation to medical appointments; helped seniors stay in their homes by providing assistance with housekeeping services, personal care, and nutrition services. Your support will help NWPP continue to provide these valuable services to this vulnerable population.

The Walkathon is NWPP's primary fundraiser. This year we need to raise $130,000. Your contribution will be spent efficiently and effectively. The agency's overhead 4%. NWPP keeps its costs low by supplementing its 17 professional staffers with 200 dedicated volunteers. You may click on this link to read profiles of two NWPP clients

We would be grateful and honored if you would support us. Just click here on the following link to pledge and pay by credit card -- you may pledge to support either Alexa, Samantha or Jennifer! NWPP will notify us that you have donated so we can thank you personally. Or you may email us with your pledge amount and have NWPP bill you after the walk. Thank you for your support!
