Habitat for Humanity trip to Honduras!

We hope you can join us for a Habitat for Humanity - Global Village trip to build houses in Honduras.

Location: northwest area of Honduras, close to San Pedro Sula (which has an international airport)

Dates: October 4-15, 2009 (some people will stay a few days longer, at their own expense, to spend a few days at the Mayan ruins of Copan)

Cost: $1500-1600 This does not include airfare, but does include a $500 donation to HfH (for building materials and administration), health insurance, travel cancellation insurance, travel within the country, meals, hotels, tips, and some of the leaders' costs (as is typical). As far as we know, all costs are tax deductible!

Airfare: check Continental (one example: round trip from Portland, Oregon to San Pedro Sula airport was under $500 as of early March)

If you are interested, please contact us soon. We have 30-40 days to gather our team. If you know someone who might have an interest in travel with a purpose, please let them know of this opportunity.

Take care.
Gloria Halper and Jay Moskovitz
