Global Kids Summer Program Enrollment

Enrollment for Summer 2019 is now open!

Enroll online.  Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so reserve your spot early. Summer Fun Weeks are only open to current ISP students. Extended-day Program After ISP Summer Camp is open to all children who attend ISP Summer Camp.

A $50 non-refundable reservation fee (per child, per Summer Fun Week) is due at the time of enrollment. This fee is deducted from the cost of program. The remainder of the balance is due on or before the first day of your child’s reservation. There is a 10% discount in programs of equal or lesser value for the second child and subsequent children in a family.

Enrollment in Summer Fun Weeks is by the week and can not be made by the day.

Drop-in: A family may request drop-in to Block 1 or Block 2 as needed by emailing globalkids@intlschool.org or calling the front desk at 503-226-2496 Extension 100 during program hours. We will let you know if space is available for your child at the date and time requested.

How To Enroll in Global Kids Summer Program in UltraCamp:

Step 1: Choose the Summer Fun Week and Extended-day After ISP Camp session(s) you’d like to attend.

You will need the enrollment code provided to families in The Owl in the May 6 edition to enroll in Summer Fun Weeks which are limited to ISP students only.

Step 2: Answer all of the questions about your child.

Step 3: Select the Time Block Options you would like your child to attend for each Summer Fun Week (if applicable).

Step 4: Complete and e-sign all of the required forms.

Step 5: Make payment.

Summer Program Confirmations and Correspondence

You will receive a confirmation email when your child is successfully enrolled in Summer Program. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us.  We will send additional details and reminders via email before each session begins.

Email is our primary form of communication.  If for some reason you do not receive any of the above emails, please contact us to ensure that we have your correct contact information (globalkids@intlschool.org).

Transfers and Cancellations

Transferring earlier than one week before your scheduled session begins is free and permitted as long as space is available.

You may make changes to your camper’s enrollment within your UltraCamp account up to one week before your child’s camp session begins.  Any change requests less than one week before the session begins need to be requested in writing, via email to globalkids@intlschool.org.

Last-minute changes present a challenge to our program that can affect staffing, supply ordering and enrollment processing.  Therefore, there is a $50 fee for any transfer of session made less than one week prior to the start date of the session.

Cancellations are permitted at any time prior to the start of the session.  However, the $50 reservation fee (per child, per session) is non-refundable.

International School of Portland reserves the right to cancel any camp that does not meet minimum enrollment or for other unforeseen circumstances.  We will do our best to notify families at least one week prior to the start of a session if a particular session is cancelled. Any payments made toward a cancelled session will be eligible for a refund or can be applied to another session.

Global Kids Extended-day Program After ISP Summer Camp

Our in-house Extended-day Program, Global Kids, is open every day after camp from 3:30-6:00pm and includes a variety of enrichment activities, outdoor free play, and healthy snacks.

Sign-up for the Global Kids After Camp through UltraCamp (not SchoolsBuddy). When registering, you will select the day(s) of the week you need after camp activities for your child(ren) during the two week session.  Sign-up is per day of the week, per session. For example, if you sign-up for Mondays during Session 1, you will be signed up for both 6/24/19 and 7/1/19.

The cost is $45 per day of the week, per session. Campers who enroll in all 5 days of the Global Kids Extended-day Program by the registration deadline (1 week prior to the session start date) will receive a 10% discount on their Global Kids Extended-day Program fees for the session. Payment for Global Kids fees is due by the first day of the camp session.

If you only need after camp activities for part of a day, or on an occasional basis, there will be a drop-in option available for $16/hr with a 1 hour minimum when space is available. More details about the drop-in option will be available as we get closer to the start of the camp season.
