April 3, 2015: PE

Our gymnastics unit continues with more challenging courses to strengthen our static and dynamic balance. We are beginning a variety of rolls and tumbles that require shifting our weight from our feet to our hands and controlling our bodies during moments when we lose our balance intentionally. We have also been practicing donkey kicks and monkey hops to strengthen our upper bodies in preparation for learning a simple cartwheel.
