Hello Everyone! LowK started hand clapping games this week with a very familiar little tune *Hot Cross Buns. * Hand clapping games are a great way to challenge motor skills, practice partner interaction, internalize steady beat while singing a rhythm and prepare students for instruments.
We have been learning some fun new songs such as *Down By The Bay *and *Oliver Twist. *The children really seem to be enjoying an American classic *A Tisket A Tasket; *although, instead of chasing each other we just drop a colorful scarf on someone’s head and then they are “it.”
We are still practicing our vocalization exercises and walking to the beat. I love teaching these students. They are great classes with so much talent! Have a great day!
