5/14/2014: PE

Our balance courses have grown in complexity and difficulty as we walk beams sideways, backwards, on our hands and feet, and on edge. We have learned falling donkey jumps and monkey hops to prepare and strengthen our bodies for somersaults and cartwheels. The variety of balance skills we learned will serve as a base for gymnastics sequences where we will see how we can put together different skills to discover new ways to balance our bodies as we move.
