Library: Principled, Potatoes and Overdues

What does it mean to be a principled person?

We act with integrity and honesty, with a strong sense of fairness, justice and respect for the dignity and rights of people everywhere. We take responsibility for our actions and their consequences (IBO 2013). At TIS we will explore this month’s IB learner profile through identifying and learning about principled leaders in history with a more in depth look at the life and work of Nelson Mandela during library classes and assemblies.

Reading Challenge & Potato Museum February 20, 2014

There is one month left to finish the reading. Books are available in the TIS library! Turn in your book cards on or before February 7. All participating students will create an art piece for the Potato Museum based on the character/s in one of the books. Yes, use real potatoes! Please click here for more information.

Overdue notices will be sent home in January. Please contact Tamara if you have any questions.

Happy New Year!
