Our annual Founder’s Day is this Friday!

This includes our Fall Handshaking Ceremony, where all students, teachers, and staff members line up like a receiving line in the playground.  ISP founders Doug and Frey Stearns will be a part of the handshaking line, joining us for the Handshaking Ceremony as we begin our 29th year of operation.

Parent participation is NOT required, though it is a beautiful ISP tradition if you can come by to watch. We do need a few parent volunteers for each class – please let your teacher know if you can help. 9am, Lower Playground.

ACTION REQUIRED: Turn on MySchool App Notifications!

We’re changing how we share class newsletters and information!

ACTION REQUIRED!

Over the next few weeks, your teachers will be transitioning from using emails for Friday newsletters to using MySchoolApp for information sharing! MySchoolApp provides many options for sharing news, resources, reminders, and more. This is still in transition, so more things will be added as we move into the year.

In order to receive an email or text notification when something has been shared, you will need to change your settings on MySchoolApp. Watch this short video to see how.

If you have questions about setting up notifications, you can email Kelly at krogers@intlschool.org. If you have general questions about MySchoolApp, please email Kat at kats@intlschool.org

Parent Handbook Now Available

The 2021-22 is now available. Refer to it for information about school policies, procedures, parent responsibilities, and more. You can download it on MySchool App under Resources.

Subscribe to our School Calendar through MySchool App

Our 2020-21 school calendar is on our website but those of you who have subscribed in the past may have noticed that you are no longer getting updates on your phone, etc. This is because the calendar is getting fed through MySchool App. You will need to re-subscribe.

BONUS: You will now see several calendars available, including general school calendars and ones for your children. Pick and choose which ones to subscribe to!

About the MySchool App Calendar

You can access the school calendars by logging into MySchool App (https://intlschool.myschoolapp.com/)  and clicking on “Calendar” on your navigation bar.

The calendar defaults to display an aggregate of your school’s events; however, you can use the date options on top and the filter options on the left to find and filter to your desired view.

Use the option buttons in the upper right corner to switch calendar type, expand calendar descriptions, export calendar feed to your personal calendar, and print.

How to subscribe to the School Calendar

  1. Click on the little “feed” icon in the top right hand corner of the calendar:
  2. Options for managing feeds from each of the user’s calendar section will appear.
  3. Select whether to use a feed for the entire calendar or for individual calendars within a section (NOTE: There isn’t much else on the calendars yet!). Add to your calendar by clicking on whichever feed you want.
