If you see her, please welcome her!

We also have a new full time Marketing & Admissions Assistant, Sarah Loepp! She will be busy around campus, helping to show off all the wonderful things that happen in our classrooms.  If you see Sarah, please do say hello and welcome her to TIS!

Virtual Town Hall Registration and Survey

Registration is now open for the Virtual Education Town Hall on Tuesday, October 29th from 6:00p to 7:30pm. Please “join” us!

In preparation , we invite you to complete a quick 4-question survey that will allow you to let our Educational Leadership Team (ELT) know what you want to talk about!!  We will then sort and group your questions to identify priorities and allow the ELT to respond most effectively and efficiently during the meeting.

What’s Happening at Global Kids?

Students have been delving into the dirt, tapping out rhythms, and getting in touch with their bodies and feelings in Global Kids this semester.

Last Friday’s first full day Alternative Day was a blast! Students did activities based around the theme of sustainability and recycling, including the Trash/recycling sorting relay with Enrichment Teacher Sarah Baker. Watch the relay in action here.

  • In the next couple of weeks, we will be asking you to share with us what your students’ preferences are for extended-day school activities for next semester.
  • Here are some of the new classes we are thinking about offering next semester: Frisbee Golf & Mini Golf, Capoeira, Coding Club, Chess Club, Wacky Science, origami, photography and digital arts, Theater Improv, Beginning Japanese, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, and much more!
