Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Calling all volunteers! The TIS Parent Network is now looking for helpers for the following Spring events. Don’t forget to record your volunteer hours at


1500 METER RUN (formerly Mile Run)The 1st-5th graders have been training for their annual timed 1500 Meter Run at the Duniway Track for the past few months. Parents are invited to come cheer  – and help out -during this exciting event. Please contact Coach Robert if you can help out on either May 22nd or 23rd:  Full schedule should be out this week!

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK: Teacher Appreciation Week (May 21-25th) is approaching! You should be getting an email from your child’s room parent about how everyone can participate. Please see the post below for more information about helping at the luncheon on May 25th. Contact Teacher Appreciation Week Coordinator Virginia Adatto if you are available to help celebrate the wonderful teachers at TIS:

MAIN CAMPUS BOOK FAIR: The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the Main Campus the week of May 29th-June 1st. The children get so excited about the books, so this is a really fun event.  Morning and afternoon shifts are available. Please sign-up for a time works for you from here or at the front desk.

OAKS PARK PARTY: We will need parent volunteers on June 13th to help out with wristbands, ice cream distribution, gear store, and other support tasks. Times will be 10am-3om; there will be shifts so that people can go and enjoy the park with their kiddos! If you are interested in helping out that day, please contact
