Gun Safety Day – Wear Orange on June 1

Dear parents, June is national gun safety awareness month. On Saturday,  June 2nd citizens around the country will be wearing orange to promote gun safety. Welcome, Elisa Hurtado-Cano

Elizabeth Rusch Author

Award-winning children’s book author, ELIZABETH RUSCH, visited TIS to speak with our 3rd-5th grade students! She focused her discussion around the creation of her book, Volcano Rising, which provides profiles of 8 volcanoes around the world and how they create new land masses. Particularly appropriate for the current 4th grade Unit of Inquiry about volcanology!

2017-2018 Immunization Reporting

As part of the immunization reporting process we are mandated to publicly share our school rates. The International School’s average vaccination rates remain very high, at approximately 98%.  This is slightly higher than the county average. Pre-school Vaccine Report K-5 Vaccine Report

Free kittens to good home!

Music teacher Kami took in two little stray cats; unbeknownst to them, both cats were pregnant.  There are currently three babies that are looking for forever homes. The kittens will be with their moms for another couple of weeks and if they cannot find homes for them they will have to be taken to the shelter…. View Article
