Welcome, Antonia Darder
We would like to welcome Antonia Darder to TIS! Maria will be teaching 2nd Grade in the Spanish track. She has experience teaching students from Early Childhood through Middle School. In addition to having a teaching degree, she is a Speech Therapist, with extensive experience working with hearing and language within schools.
Antonia has taught in her home country of Spain most of her career, and also spent a few years at a bilingual elementary school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Most recently, Antonia has been working as part of a multidisplinary team through the Board of Education of the Balearic Islands in Spain, where both Spanish and Catalan are official languages.
