Earth Day Clean Up!  Join SOLVE, Friends of RiverPlace, and the International School in raking, trimming, digging and cleaning in the South Naito Neighborhood. From Naito to the River, help us beautify our community. Wont you be our neighbor? Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Raking. KIDS ARE WELCOME! Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm, Lower School playground

Keepin’ it Clean Campus Walk – 1st Grade. Meet near the recycling cans at Hilltop right after drop off. Parents in all grades welcome! 8:15-9:15am.

THURSDAY, APRIL 26

5th Grade Exhibition is a special unit of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme designed and executed by the students themselves. Our students will present the findings of their research projects and discuss how it intertwined with their experiences on their Capstone Study Abroad trips. 8:00am-12pm; 1-3:00pm, Learners’ Hall. (English-only presentations – 2:15-3:00pm)

Capstone Study Abroad Parent Info Session Capstone is the pinnacle to a TIS education. It enables students to validate their language proficiency and cultural understanding through real world experience. Your child will embark on this at the end of their 5th grade year here at TIS. Following the presentation, you have the option to walk as a group to Learners’ Hall to check out the Exhibition! 8:15am in the Arthur Administration Building

FRIDAY, APRIL 27

Preschool & Kindergarten Open House for Prospective Families. Do you know any families who would be interested in TIS? Please tell them about our Open House! Parents of 0-4 year olds are invited to visit our school and learn more about our Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese immersion programs and inquiry-based International Baccalaureate methodology. 9am-12pm.
