Interested in keeping TIS safe and clean?

The TIS Parent Network – in coordination with partner organization Friends of Riverplace – work hard to make sure that the open areas surrounding our campus are safe and clean.   Your help is needed! Here are three ways that you can be involved:

Keepin’ It Clean Walk
Tuesday, September 12th
8:15 am to 9:15 am

Join TIS parents as we walk the perimeter of the school picking up trash, removing graffiti, cutting back invasive plants.  Trash bags, pickers, gloves, graffiti removal supplies provided.  Adults only.  Meet outside the gate at Hilltop.  Can’t make tomorrow’s walk?  We will be “Keepin’ It Clean” twice a month throughout the school year.

Restore Riverplace Community Clean Up

Saturday, September 16th
10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Join our neighbors in keeping the area around our school clean and safe.  SOLVE, Friends of Riverplace, and the TIS community will be picking up trash, removing graffiti, and cutting back invasive plants on the land surrounding the school.  Trash bags, pickers, gloves, clippers, rakes, graffiti removal supplies provided.  This is an all ages event.  Meet near the International School playground at the corner of  SW Grant and SW Water.  Can’t make Restore Riverplace this Saturday?  These events will be held the third Saturday of each month.  Same time.  Same place.
